High humidity can breakdown men's running shoes.

First, let's talk about men's running shoes for pronators and their running style.  During the running cycle, the pronators foot rolls inward too much.  So what happens to his running shoes during the run?  Each time his foot hits the ground, the arch crushes the inside of the midsole of the running shoes.  That means the over-pronator should be looking for jogging shoes with motion control of the rearfoot.

But, what about running shoes for supinators - those runners who roll their foot outward too much.  These athletes should order running shoes with shock absorption systems.  This will cushion the outside edge of the runners foot to help prevent running injuries.  The major brands of running sneakers - Nike trainers, Adidas, New Balance, Saucony, Asics, Reebok and others - all offer men's running shoes with systems to aid the jogger.

Did you know that your running shoes can be affected by humidity?  It seems that a humid climate will accelerate your running shoes rapid breakdown.  This is because running in wet sneakers will overstretch the running shoes uppers - the upper portion that is typically canvas.  At the same time the breakdown continues because the three layers of the running shoes sole are overly compressed.  These are signs of men's running shoes that should be retired soon.
