This version of the Nike Air Pegasus trainer has a lower arch and a lighter upper. It's hard to believe the original Pegasus was introduced twenty years ago. Nike has focused on function in these running shoes. The Pegasus has always been known as a serious trainer.

In the year 2000, Nike running shoes (Pegasus) brought us a foam-only midsole which had a full length air unit. Two years later, the Pegasus Nike running shoes were updated with a stiffer midsole. Now with the latest model of the Nike Air Pegasus, we have solid running shoes with great performance. For many runners, the Pegasus is already a favorite. Let's hope Nike doesn't discontinue this style of athletic shoe anytime soon.
