Nike running shoes review:  A quick look at the Nike Air Max

These Nike running shoes have a profile similar to a sleek track shoe, maybe even a throw back look of earlier athletic shoes.  The upper is a synthetic made for flexibility and ventilation in these Nike running shoes.

Also note that these Nike running shoes utilize full length single Air Max cushioning.  Since the midsole lacks the usual foam that surrounds the air in running footwear, the foot is closer to the ground.  The result is improved stability.  These training shoes have better rear-foot stability due to Nike's medial post.

The waffle grip outsole in these Nike running shoes provides good ride and traction.  The flashy look to the upper might be over-done, but if running shoes deliver in the performance department, it's hard to complain too much about a good pair of running footwear.

The Nike Air Max 2004 starts with the existing rubber midsole and adds a heel counter and toe bumper.  The shoe feels like a combination light, flexible racer and a stable, heavier trainer on the bottom.

Many online stores carry Nike running shoes at discount prices.  Take a minute to look around for your favorite athletic shoes and save some money.

Running Tips

You've completed the marathon you trained so hard for.  Now what?  Your first week of recovery is very important.  Researchers suggest that you should not run during the first week after a marathon event.  However, it's a good idea to do light workouts on the stationary bike for 30 minute sessions.
