Motion Control Shoe - Term for running shoes made with specific materials to reduce excessive inward foot motion.

Stability - Type of running shoes to control too much foot motion during the run.

Pronation - The inward roll of the running shoes as the arch of the foot collapses.  This is a normal motion for the athlete in his running footwear during the run.

Overpronation - When running shoes roll inward too much just before toe-off.  This movement can be the source of many running injuries.

Underpronation - Opposite of overpronation.  The running shoes will show signs of wear on the outer side of the running footwear.  Look for too much wear from the heel up to the forefoot of the running shoes.  The heel counters of athletic jogging shoes will break down on the lateral side.

Best Buy - Term used for high quality running shoes.  Best running shoes offered at fair price for runners looking to buy athletic footwear.

Ride - Runner's term for comfortable transfer of weight delivered by the running shoes from heel strike to toe off.  One of the benefits of running shoes if the footwear is of high quality.  Look for good running shoes rating.
